teacher should possess a thorough understanding of a fitness curriculum and program, along with the ability to teach a wide range of school-age children.
This teacher should also have the desire to develop and evolve a curriculum that focuses on group activities, a variety of athletic games, as well as individual skills and lifetime fitness knowledge as the program grows.
Teachers with an additional certification in Health are highly sought but this is not a requirement.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for developing the overall health and wellness of their students with a high level of engagement, leadership, and compassion.
The candidate must have the ability to oversee and ensure the safety of children in and out of the classroom, have a collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
